Our Mission:

  • To be a leading inter-disciplinary laboratory excelling in providing intelligent solutions to pressing problems in Smart City, such as Smart Health Sciences and Engineering, Sustainable Development, Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Big Data, Edge Computing, Cloud Computing, and Blockchain.

  • To create the next-generation technologies in Smart Digital Healthcare and Engineering systems.

  • To partner and collaborate with leading experts from diverse disciplines to advance smart city applications and systems, in various domain of healthcare, engineering, and sustainable development.

Our Goals:

  • To pioneer the development of smart health sciences applications, such as patient healthcare, personalized and predictive medicine, public health and epidemiology, smart healthcare systems, and medical imaging.

  • To be at the frontend for the development of smart solutions for efficient, safe, and privacy-preserving digital autonomous intelligent agents in smart cities.

  • To lead the sustainable development for a green, efficient, and secure solutions in an IoT, Edge, Cloud Computing, and blockchain infrastructure.

  • Machine learning and deep learning-based power consumption modeling

  • Sustainable offloading and scheduling in edge and cloud computing systems

  • Optimizing the performance and energy savings of Smart City applications such as transportation, healthcare, smart homes,  and language translation

  • Smart health sciences 

  • Scalable blockchain for health records management

  • Artificial Intelligence-based chronic disease prediction and management 

  • Artificial Intelligence for managing infectious diseases
